August is close

We're getting the kits pack, finishing up the handmade items & gathering the layouts. The kit will be available August 11th (day after my birthday!) but I will be putting up some preview pieces for your viewing pleasure.

A few more days please....

Masking with letters

I came across this funny picture of Henry - he covered his arms with paint & called himself "Super Painter Guy". I figured a title created with paint would work, so I stuck on some alphabet letters (de-sticky them a little by sticking them to your shirt) and applied black paint over the top. A few minutes later I peeled off the letters and outlined the negative space with a white Sharpie marker.

The paper is from the May Kit (Scenic Route) - I cut a large frame & freehand cut the scallops around the edge then I outlined it in a black pen.

May Kit pages

Here's a page using the papers from the May Kit - Scenic Route Grafton papers. I made a paint glaze by mixing Glossy Accents & a dab of lime green paint together. It creates a transparent glossy paint that I stamp across the background using bubble wrap & an acrylic stamp block.

I cut out a circle and inked the edges with Cat Eye Chalk "Aquamarine ", cut out some fishes and popped some of them off the page. The sticker letters are American Craft vinyl letters.

July Kit

July Kit - SEI & friends
Kit will be available for sale at the store on July 7th.

June's mini book project

Here's a couple pages of the circle book, I forgot my camera and had to borrow a mini camera. I'll get some more pictures really soon.

I cut out some of the words from the paper & added a layer of Glossy Accents to the word. Then I mounted it to a piece of cardstock & trimmed.

The picture size are 5cm x 9cm (roughly 2.5x3.5), I can get 3 pictures on a 4x6 photo. I use Picasa as my photo printing program, its a free photo editor and works great. That's where I get the centimeter size, its in a drop down box under options.
